Nutrition & Health Conference 2010
"The Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine (AzCIM) is leading the transformation of healthcare by creating, educating and supporting a community that embodies the philosophy and practice of healing-oriented medicine, addressing mind, body and spirit, including all aspects of lifestyle." --AzCIM
Nutrition has a major influence on health and longevity and the conference helps physicians, dietitians, nutritionists, nurses, personal chefs, pharmacists, naturopaths as well as any other nutritional professionals who make nutrition a part of their practice. This year, the conference provided strategies to help health professionals advise patients how to use nutrition to maintain their health as well as to manage certain conditions. Topics such as sports medicine, obesity, diabetes, genes studies, caffeine and food allergies were covered. Also included was an overview of the latest research, nutritional medicine, an array of experts speaking about healthy foods, the use of dietary supplements as well as the latest scientific findings on diet and health. Meals and breaks included organic and healthy foods and the opportunity to speak with vendors and to network. At the end of the each day, there were question-and-answer periods and panel discussions which provided additional information and insight, personal rapport and verification. This year was an overwhelming success. For more information about future conferences and classes, visit www.NHConference.org
